Prospect Park United Methodist Church is pleased to share that its Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Sterling L. Eaton, was celebrated by the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church in the July 28, 2026 edition of the EPA Digest.
The recognition appeared in the new EPA Digest’s “We Celebrate!” section, which highlights meaningful accomplishments and celebrations from across the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference.
The Conference recognized Rev. Dr. Eaton’s receipt of an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from Nobel University, awarded in recognition of his work in Leadership and Organizational Development.

I am thankful for every person, congregation, organization, mentor, colleague, friend, and family member who has been part of this journey.”
This honorary distinction reflects Rev. Dr. Eaton’s continuing journey of pastoral ministry, organizational leadership, military service, nonprofit engagement, theological education, and community impact.
Rev. Dr. Eaton serves as Senior Pastor of Prospect Park United Methodist Church and Director of the Hope Thru Wholeness Center, a community-based holistic ministry serving individuals and families throughout the surrounding community.
